Custom lighting is never just about changing measurements.
It’s about translating a space, a vision, and a set of expectations into a finished piece that feels right the moment it’s seen in person.
This project features a custom Pezzo Crystal Chandelier, developed from the iconic Pezzo 12 Round Chandelier. From early concept discussions to final production, the entire process was shaped through close collaboration with the client — ensuring every detail aligned with both the space and the client’s expectations.
From Initial Concept to Clear Direction
The client’s space presented a defining challenge: a tall, open vertical volume that demanded more than a standard chandelier configuration. Proportion, suspension height, and light distribution would all play a critical role in how the space ultimately felt.
Rather than starting with a fixed product size, we began with questions:
-
How should the chandelier visually anchor the space?
-
Where should the light sit within the vertical volume?
-
How bold should the presence be without overwhelming the interior?
These early conversations set the foundation for a fully customized solution.
Design Development Through Multiple Versions
To arrive at the best result, we provided the client with multiple design versions, each exploring different approaches to scale and structure.
During this phase, we shared:
-
Detailed technical drawings outlining diameter, height, and suspension proportions
-
Alternative configurations comparing visual weight and light distribution
-
Clear explanations of how each option would perform within the space
Each round of feedback helped narrow the direction. Adjustments were made thoughtfully — not rushed — until the design felt balanced both on paper and in context.
This structured, transparent process allowed the client to make decisions with confidence, without feeling overwhelmed by technical complexity.

Final Custom Specifications
After several rounds of refinement, the final configuration was confirmed:
This specification was chosen to emphasize vertical elegance while maintaining visual clarity and even illumination — a statement piece designed specifically for a large-scale architectural setting.
From Drawings to Production
Once the design was approved, the project moved into production. The chandelier was crafted with a focus on precision and consistency, translating the approved drawings into a physical piece without compromise.
Throughout production, we documented the process with:
Seeing the chandelier fully assembled confirmed what careful planning makes possible — a custom piece that feels intentional, cohesive, and true to the original vision.
A Seamless Custom Experience
One of the most important goals of this project was to make customization feel accessible and manageable.
By handling the design coordination, revisions, and technical validation internally, we allowed the client to focus on the creative direction rather than the logistics. Regular updates, clear visuals, and timely communication ensured the process stayed smooth from start to finish.
Custom lighting doesn’t need to be complicated — it just needs to be well guided.
Designed Together, Crafted with Purpose
This project reflects what we believe custom lighting should be: collaborative, thoughtful, and precise. When design and communication move in sync, the result is not just a chandelier, but a piece that belongs naturally within its space.
If you’re considering a custom chandelier — whether adjusting scale, configuration, or overall presence — we’re always open to exploring what’s possible and guiding you through the process step by step.
